Step 1: Bike is stock and ready to be dissassembled. Fluids are drained. Fuel tank, primary drive, exhaust, and E.F.I System are removed.
Step 1: Exhaust system is removed and engine oil, transmission fluid and primary fluid is drained.
Step 2: All electrical connections are unhooked. Engine mounts and stabilizers are unbolted. Engine is removed from the bike.
Step 2: Oil tank, Starter and Primary Drive components are all removed to gain access to transmission.
Step 3: Engine removed and is completly dissassembled to prepare cases for machining.
Step 3: Transmission end cover, top cover and shift drum are removed. Entire gear set assembly is then removed. Transmission bearings are replaced and OEM speed sensor hole is plugged.
Step 4: Engine is completely disassembled. Bearings are presed out of cases. All oil passages are taped off. Cases are reassembled and tourqued to spec. Cases are now ready to be machined.
Step 4: Clearance modifications are made to the transmission cases and the new six speed gear set is installed.
Step 5: Cases are bolted to the boring fixture. Cases are machined to 4.260 in. After both cylinder bores have been machined the cases are thourghly cleaned to be reassembled.
Step 5: Stock transmission top cover and Screamin' Eagle 6-speed end cover are installed.
Step 6: Flywheels are re-installed with new bearings and seals. High performance cams and lifters are installed with high compression forged 113" pistons are installed along with high tensile cylinder studs.
Step 6: Starter, oil tank, primary drive components, and exhaust are reinstalled. All fluids are filled to spec. Clutch and primary adjustments are made. Technician test rides bike and fluid levels and adjustments are rechecked.
Step 7: Top End Assembly. 113" Bigger Bore Cylinders are installed. Then the Screamin' Eagle® High Performance heads are installed along with a completely upgraded ValveTrain. The 113" Power Plant is now ready for installation.
Step 8: Engine is installed in motorcycle. Big Bore throttle body and injectors are installed. All electrical and cables are reconnected. Primary is installed with upgraded clutch components.
Step 9: High Performance Exhaust is installed. Racetuner is downloaded on the E.C.M. The remainder of the factory components are reinstalled. All fluids are topped off with SYN3®.
Step 10: Tech has given bike a test ride. All fluids are rechecked. Critical fasteners are retourqued. Bike is washed and ready for delivery.
